CAREER:                                     Montano was the lead singer in the group Xtatik when he won the Road March Title in 1997 with "Big Truck." He teamed up with Patrice Roberts to capture the Road March title again in 2006 with "Band of the Year," composed by Kernel Roberts. He won Road March titles in 2007 and 2011 with Kernel Roberts compositions "Jumbie" and "Advantage." By 2016, Montano had won eight Road March titles.
