Carapichaima
Carapichaima is located in west-central Trinidad, west of Freeport and east of Waterloo. It can be accessed from the north by the Uriah Butler Highway. It is the home of many East Indian Hindus who worship at the Dattatreya Mandir on Orange Field Road where, in June 2003, an 85-foot Hanuman murti was consecrated. It was believed to be the largest statue of the Hindu god Hanuman outside of India. Korea Village is one of the communities of Carapichaima.
