The West Indies officially joined the international cricket community when a representative team travelled to England to play its first test match in 1928. Trinidad players who represented the W.I. in Test cricket during this decade were Learie Constantine, Herman Griffith, Clifford Roach, Joseph Small, and Wilton St. Hill.
