CAREER: Williams migrated to the USA with her family at the age of eight, but represented Trinidad & Tobago at the 1984 and 1988 Olympics. Her career included the following significant accomplishments:
- 1982 British Commonwealth Games, Brisbane, Australia - 200 meters (24.74); 4 x 100 meters Relay (6th, 44.74, with Janice Bernard, Gillian Forde, and Maxine McMillan)
- 1982 Central American and Caribbean Games, Havana, Cuba - 200 meters (2nd, 23.75); 4 x 100 meters Relay (1st, 44.86, with Janice Bernard, Gillian Forde, and Maxine McMillan)
- 1983 Pan American Games, Caracas, Venezuela - 200 meters (24.66); 4 x 100 meters Relay (2nd, 44.63, with Janice Bernard, Gillian Forde, and Esther Hope)
