  • CAREER:                                 After studying cordon bleu cooking in the United Kingdom, Hennessy was invited to share a television cooking segment on the local television station, TTT. Hennessy's training in cordon bleu led her to open the popular Veni Mange restaurant with her sister. The name of the restaurant, which means "come and eat," was given by her good friend and television personality, Holly Beteaudier, co-hosted several cultural shows with her over the years. She hosted the program Community Dateline for several years, with personalities such as Wendell Constantine, Judy Alcantara, Lisa Wickham, and Judy Chong Dennison. She co-hosted "The Box," a daily TV talk show on Gayelle, and hosted many Carnival activities and events. She had been married to fellow journalist and singer, Emmett Hennessy, for 37 years before her passing. Hennessy was a great supporter of T&T's culture such as the Best Village program, community activities via Dateline, and Carnival.
