CAREER: McWilliams formed his band in the 1956 and, in 1961, became the first bandleader to present a local theme at Carnival with "Hail La Trinity." Later, he was the first bandleader to use multiple mas camps for his presentations. He won the Band-of-the-Year title three times (1971, 1972, and 1978).
