  • CAREER:                                 A mezzo-soprano, Nicholls sang with the Lydian Singers and the Southernaires before attending school in England where she majored in opera with a minor in piano. Following her graduation from the National Opera Studio, she joined the Glyndebourne Opera Company in Sussex, England, where she performed until 1990. She then sang with various touring companies performing in the Portugal, Syria, and the United Kingdom.
