CAREER:                                 Born in Success Village, Laventille, Walker grew up in San Fernando. He taught at St. Paul’s Anglican School and became heavily involved in the theatre and theatrical production. He got his big break when he placed third in the "Scouting for Talent" contest that was hosted by local impresario Holly Betaudier in Port-of-Spain, and won a trip to New York, USA. He migrated to New York in 1969 and gained his first acting role at the Harlem School of Arts in the play, "A Season in the Congo." He went on to become a successful actor, playwright, and director. He became the Director of the Caribbean Experience Theatre in Manhattan, New York, and later founded the School for Caribbean Arts and Culture. Walker has acted in such television shows as The Cosby Show from 1988 to 1991 portraying Bill Cosby's physician friend, Dr. James Harmon. His most significant role was in the 1994–1995 show "Earth 2" where he appeared in nearly every episode as Yale, a cybernetic advisor to Devon Adair (Debrah Farentino) and tutor to her son, Uly.
