Netball 1950 - 1959

Netball gained popularity in the 1950s largely through the efforts of Lystra Lewis.

Netball 1960 - 1969

In 1963, a T&T team competed at the initial World Netball Championship in Eastbourne, England. The following are the results of the T&T team accomplishments in significant international competition:

Netball 1970 - 1979

Trinidad & Tobago's greatest accomplishment in netball was achieved in 1979 when its national team shared the World Championship with Australia and New Zealand. As a result, the Trinidad & Tobago Netball Association was awarded a Trinidad & Tobago Humming Medal Gold. The 1979 team was made up of the following players, all of whom were awarded the Trinidad & Tobago Chaconia Medal Gold in 1979:
