Olympics in the 1950s

1952

Rodney Wilkes and Lennox Kilgour both won bronze medals in their respective weightlifting classes in 1952. Trinidad-born sprinter McDonald Bailey represented Great Britain in the 1952 Olympics and won a bronze medal in the 100-meters event.

1956

A contingent of 6 athletes represented Trinidad & Tobago at the 1956 Olympics, but no medals were earned.
