    • CAREER:                                Alves began singing at the age of nine and won the 2001 Rosary Boys RC School Calypso Competition singing "Carnival Time." At St. George's College, he was the lead male vocalist of the school's parang group. Specializing in soca, he later won both the Junior Calypso and the Junior Soca Monarch competitions in 2008 and 2009 with his songs "Soca Moving" and "Musical Journey," and was a finalist in the International Soca Monarch competition in 2014 and 2015. His song "On D Spot" was once featured on an MTV Real World Episode in 2012. Alves was a finalist in the Groovy and International Power Soca Monarch competitions in 2012 singing "In Your Eyes" and "Terrible." As a songwriter, he has written songs for Kes The Band (Precision Wine) and Machel Montano (Make You Rock, Take You Home, and Doh Friad).

                                                          In 2016, Alves founded the "#noSeasons" project to promote, inspire, and encourage more soca release in Trinidad & Tobago all year round. In appreciation for the support for his career, Alves launched "Together Each Achieves More" (tEAm) to fund projects in his community such as the Alves' St George College Music Fund which donates musical equipment to the school. He made the Calypso Monarch Final in 2019. His other songs include:
